For its
characteristic places Cefalu
was chosen as the location for
the production of some films.
Through these you
may notice some
changes in morphology and habits
of our city. Often,
in these films, were used as
actors or extras
locals. We can mention some
titles like: "Wonderful"
(1953), "To Each His Own"
(1967), "Cinema Paradiso"
(1988) masterpiece
by Giuseppe Tornatore won the
Oscar, "Director
of weddings" (2006) with
Castellitto. Other films
were shot in Palermo
as the case of the film:
Mario and the Magician, a film
that changed for a few
days the appearance of our
town but that has not
even been released
